Environmental and Sustainable Development Programs Open House

The Earth Institute will host the annual Environmental and Sustainable Development Programs Open House on Monday, October 20 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm in the Rotunda of Low Library, here on Columbia’s Morningside campus (116th and Broadway).

Please go to: http://www.earth.columbia.edu/articles/view/2242 for registration.

This is a great event where representatives from each of Columbia’s degree and non-degree programs in environment and sustainable development come together to speak to prospective students about all that Columbia has to offer in these fields. With nearly 30 degree and non-degree offerings, Columbia has one of the largest collections of environment and sustainable development education programs in the world; this Open House is your chance to learn more about them.

For prospective undergraduates interested in studying environmental or sustainable development in college, for those seeking to switch careers or advance in their jobs by furthering their education, and for those interested in learning about environment and sustainable development issues and how Columbia’s programs address them, the Open House provides a forum to ask questions and gather information.

If you are a current or former student in one of our programs, you know about our dedicated instructors, world-class facilities and comprehensive resources for those studying environment and sustainable development here. We encourage you to spread the word about this Open House to friends and colleagues who might be interested in our programs.

If you are considering a major or have thought about pursuing higher education opportunities in environment or sustainable development, please join us to learn how our programs can help you reach your goals.
