The session is intended for Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science students and alumni/ae who are applying to law school for 2010 admission. The session will address the administrative aspects and the strategic components of the law school application process.

We will cover the "nuts and bolts" of the application process: guidelines for writing an effective personal statement, determining where to apply, asking for recommendations, filing your application, obtaining a dean's certification, and utilizing campus and outside resources.

We highly recommend attending one of these sessions if living in the NYC area. If you cannot attend one of these sessions, please send an email to Cindy at cfc5@columbia.edu and include your UNI to ensure you receive a copy of the 2010 Law School Application Process Packet and other important information throughout the application process.

If you have questions, please call 854.8722 to make an appointment with a staff member. Additional sessions will be offered in the fall.

schools: Brooklyn, Columbia, Cardozo, Fordham, and NYU.

Stephen Brown, Assistant Dean of Enrollment Services, Fordham Law School

Dean Brown will cover all aspects to consider in financing and repaying a law school education. The information presented is NOT specific to Fordham Law School applicants but useful information no matter where you attend law school. It's a very educational and entertaining presentation that you do not want to miss! For those who cannot attend, we will send an email to students and alumni/ae when the presentation and notes are posted on our website.
