Prospective Majors
Statistics, Mathematics-Statistics, Political Science-Statistics, and Economics-Statistics
We will meet to have lunch and hold informational discussions.
Lunch will be provided.
Anyone interested in becoming a major or learning more about the department is encouraged to attend.
Prospective majors
will have and opportunity to speak with Professors, Graduate students and other students in the major to learn about their research interests and work, statistics courses and possible summer internships/projects.

Students who have graduated with a degree in Statistics go into various fields such as:
Finance, Biostatistics, Insurance, Risk Management,
Consulting, Economics, and much more.
