SIPA Five-Year Program

For Juniors:

The SIPA Five-Year Program offers a select few students enrolled in Columbia’s undergraduate colleges the opportunity to earn a Master of International Affairs (MIA) or Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in conjunction with their undergraduate degree.

Students accepted into this combined Bachelor’s/Master’s program will take SIPA graduate courses during their senior year of undergraduate studies, in addition to their college requirements, while remaining registered officially at their college. Students accepted into combined program will matriculate at SIPA in their last year.

Application for the combined program is made through the Center for Student Advising, using a special application form. Applications for the Fall 2008 cycle will be available in early December 2007, and must be returned to the respective college Dean’s office no later than January 25, 2008.
